We are making the good life happen for ourselves in the post-industrial economy.
We are coming soon
welcome to #openvillage
A new health and social care system powered by open source, community-driven solutions.
Three days of open space conversations, DIY science workshops, environmental photo exhibitions, advocacy project screenings, exercising for health. With good food and extraordinary company.
We are rolling out an experiment in communal care, as all members will be both presenter and audience.
Sessions will be small and varied, with a focus on tangible outputs and exhibitions. Extended conversations are centered on collaborative structures, finances and funding, and designing together the first OpenVillage(s). The panelists will flip the script of normal conferences and present a question to the audience they have come to from their histories.
We will make meals together, as well as clean up together. Learn more.
During the first day of the festival we will create sessions where we can experiment with collective building process and developing activities for caring within the city.
The day 2 will highlight projects and processes, that will allow us to learn from previous experiences and find ways to collaborate across any obstacle
Day 3 will present the places where we begin to prototype our ideas, find practicalities we did not imagine, and practice collaboration with each other.
