Organising the open science behind open insulin
One in two people who need access to insulin lack it. Centralized production neglects them and work on diabetes cures stagnates. OpenInsulin is working to decentralize production and create a commons where more people, including patients, contribute to solutions. The project started in Oakland and is now mobilizing groups across the world. What are we learning about doing open research and how to do it in a sustainable way?
